Counting the Days... #11

I personally, am in love with Lisa McMann's Wake Trilogy, so when I found out about Crash I went insane and fangirled all the way home. When it came out I literally parked my butt on the couch and did not move until I was done reading it later that day, and when I found out the sequel Bang is gonna come out the same year it was like Christmas in January. Or was it Feb.. Now, I'm not so crazy about the name though, Bang not as catchy I guess, and I'm worried about it not living up to expectations. Not to mention sequels are usually hamartia of trilogies for me it makes me even more nervous. None the less I'm thrilled at the thought of reading Bang and I'm counting the very few days till it is released October 8 here in the US.

Duuude I just got the broken glass eye effect, ooooooooh wow I'm a moron sometimes.

The Gallagher Girls Series is just about one of the bestest in the world. I love it so much, and I mean, picking up that first book was such a good thing to do. And now it's coming to an end and that's so sad BUT I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!!! I've been waiting years for this finale and OMG I can't even. I just, oh gosh let September be here soon. Even if that means summer is long gone and school is all I ever know. I just want this book, in my hands, right now. I love it so much and I don't even know it. OMGGGGGGGGGGG.

Counting the Days...#9

So now that I'm finally done with school what can I not wait to do? Read a book about school!!!!

Well, sorta. Demonosity and it's adorable cover are totes on my summer reading list. It'll be just the thing to get me in a back to school mood, since it hits shelves on August 15th. Sadly, yes, I have stupid classes on the 26th, boo learning. (Not that learning is a bad thing, I am a 4.0 honors student. :) Anywho, I just hope that Demonosity has that spicy witty humor I'm dying to get my hands on. Fingers crossed!

So who doesn't love a good prep school murder mystery? I'm like super excited to get to read this book, my only hopes are that it's better than the Liar Society, that wasn't a favorite... 

So fingers crossed that Prep School Confidential is as awesome as it looks. Now, I just have to wait till July 30th... 46 more days left!

Am I the only one who manages to forget everything that has ever happened in the Mythos Academy Series after I finish one of the books? I do not understand why, it just happens, but nonetheless I'm still waiting for the next installment: 

Okay so technically the next book is the novella Spartan Frost, which is a short story told from Logan's point of view. But who cares this is the next actual book right? And it hits shelves July 30th here in the US. I'm counting the days for both, Spartan Frost and Midnight Frost I can't wait to see what happens next!! And you know, remember what happened before....

This cover? Yeah not so loving the red, but aside from that PEOPLE IT'S HAPPENING!! Yes, yes it's coming true! Remember when Young said she'd love to write a story in Harlin's point of view called A Desire So Deadly? WELL IT'S FREAKING HAPPENING!!!!!! Get out your confetti poppers because this is gonna be amaze to the nth degree!! And I'm sorry but does that say "Three lifetimes"?? Goodreads slow down because I can't exactly remember the end of A Want So Wicked. But I don't recall Elise(Charlotte) turning into a different person again. I just am so excited and happy that this is gonna be a novella. I seriously cannoooooooooot wait.

This book has tore me to pieces. I know you're supposed to say 'tore me to shreds' but pieces feels better. I mean seriously I don't know how to explain the rollercoaster of amazing that McEntire takes you on with her writing. It's outrageously awesome, and I hate thinking it's going to end. I'm at war with myself when it comes to Infinityglass, I'd read a thousand more pages about Em, Micheal, Kaleb, Lily and the whole gang. I just don't want it to end so soon. Should I read it or should I wait? I guess I'll have to wait now anyways, August is oh so close, yet so far away.

Okay, so goodreads just sent me this update email, saying how Sarah Alderson, posted about her new short story, Tormenting Lila. And before I get into how happy I am to be having another Lila adventure, let me go on a rant because I mean, this is not cutting it. Seriously two Lila books? That's all we get? That's it? That's not even a thing, I don't even know if there's a name for that, correct me if I'm wrong, but seriously!! Come awnnn!! I hate it when authors only publish two books it drives me insane we readers need closure. You aren't giving us that closure in a short story that doubles as in introduction to your new story!! I mean, Sarah Alderson is an amazing writer, but the Lila stories are just something I'm too attached to, I love all the characters and the idea of the story and everything so much I'm not willing to let it go. Do I need to get all crazy ex-girlfriend and write "we want more Lila" in red lipstick on the windshield of Alderson's car? Like do you know the pain you're putting us through? These other series just aren't cutting it, I'm sorry to say. I'm actually seriously annoyed that I can't find a gif of that at&t commercial with the little girl going "we want more, we want more. like, you're parents say no, but we want more." or however it goes, because I mean, we want more.

Now moving on to the happy, which has gotten smaller. YAY!!!! Another Lila adventure!! woohoo. Can not wait for July 1st!

Do you see this book?

See it? See it's pretty red cover, and the gray nail polish the model is wearing that I must have. Do you see the amazing typography and that pretty flower? Do you understand what this book does to me? You see I read the first book, Confessions of an Angry Girl, and being an angry girl myself, I expected something different. I wasn't very happy with the book, it wasn't what I wanted, it didn't have the emotion behind it that I wanted. It didn't make me feel and think and go crazy for the characters. But lately, well, it's coming back. Certain scenes of the book, parts that didn't mean much that start to. So whenever I pass by this book, I just can't help but wonder. What it's gonna actually be like, if it'll come short of my expectations. Either way I'm reading this for sure. I'm just gonna have to write my own confessions of an angry girl if this series/trilogy/whatever fails yet again.

Counting the Days #2

I might've mentioned before in a post how Rachel Hawkins is my all time favorite author, and I totally love her and her books? Right? I mean, it has to have come up. If not, well it's true, I'm a total sucker for the Hex Hall Trilogy. It's one of those seriously rare books I found as soon as it began, and I waited each year for the next installment. Of course, when I found out that it was going to end, I was crushed. However the fact that School Spirits is the first in a spin-off trilogy(series maybe?), totally almost made up for Hex Hall ending.

School Spirits is going to be released in May 14th, and I can not wait to get my hands on this book. My cousin and I are both eagerly awaiting it's release. She just so happened to get lucky and discover Hex Hall a few months after Spellbound hit shelves, so she didn't have any waiting to do before. (Yes, I actually kept Hex Hall a secret from her but she found out anyways...)

Bottom line is, I am seriously excited to read School Spirits yet at the same time, I'm kinda worried. I mean, I've got such high expectations. Even though it's about Izzy (Sophie's cousin), it should still be awesome right? But then again, how awesome can it be without Sophie, or Jenna, or Archer, or *sniff* Cal? I love Cal and Archer. Especially Cal. Kinda getting sidetracked, anyways, School Spirits is going to be one heck of a book that I'm majorly looking forward to reading. At least I hope so....

Counting The Days... #1

Counting The Days are like the hardest posts for me to come up with, because there aren't a lot of books this year I'm excited to read or expecting to come out. However, Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout is one I cannot wait to be released. It's the fourth book in the Covenant Series and absolutely amazing. I'm actually seriously worried about this being the book that ruins the whole series. Hopefully I'm totally wrong and Apollyon will be as amazing as ever, I'm just expecting this book in the series to be the one that's dripping with soppy romance. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of all that love story blah, I just want some hilarious one liners  and some awesome action scenes. All in all the Covenant series a top favorite of mine and you guys should totally give it a chance. While I continue to anxiously wait until Apollyon is released April 9th.
